Burial

Picture of a half animal half human being in a Paleolithic cave painting in Dordogne, France archeologists believe that cave paintings of half animal half human beings may be evidence for early shamanic practices during the Paleolithic.

Intentional burial, particularly with grave goods may be one of the earliest detectable forms of religious practice since, as Philip Lieberman suggests, it may signify a "concern for the dead that transcends daily life."

The earliest undisputed Homo sapiens burial dates back 60,000 years. Human skeletal remains stained with red ochre were discovered in the Skhul cave at Qafzeh, Israel.

What religion fits me best? [If I must make a religion can you help?]?
Q. Okay, I believe there is 1 god and kinda in Jesus and his Miracles. I also believe that when you die you get reincarnated, however you need to be good or you will reincarnate into something like a tree or an animal and not a human being. I think that before humans came there were prehistoric animals like Dinosaurs. I also believe in ghosts, aliens, and cryptids like bigfoot and chupacabra.

A. Well christianity. Bible talks about giants and dinosaurs and I believe aliens too. What ever you do do not pick Islam. You will learn to hate those that are not of your religion and will be bent on world domination until the whole world is Muslim.

Why don't all those that don't agree with or like the majority vote in America, find a new country to inhabit?
Q. Think of all the drama and fun of exterminating a defenseless people in the name of your god? Hey, we don't want to go back to the days of segregation and ignorance. This is the 21st century. Racism is a holdover from prehistoric humans. Religion, especially christian cults, are tools of repression and warfare. So why don't the backward thinkers just go somewhere else, or just get with the program?

A. As much as I disagree with republicans over certain issues I won't expect them to leave the country all because I disagree with them.

has it ever been scientifically proved that humans had a lifespan of 900+ years?
Q. all major religions tell us that our ancestors lived for hundreds of years but if I'm not mistaken, I've never really heard this beyond the legends and myths of religion. as far as I know, prehistoric humans a lifespan of 30-40 years, not much longer. surely, our scientific progress has increased our lifespan, don't you think?

A. Quite the opposite has been proven which is that we as a species are now living longer than ever before.
